每天說英文挑戰 (2022.04.12)

Morning guys,

On Sunday morning, my family and I went grocery shopping at a supermarket.  I personally don’t go to supermarkets very often, probably 5 or 6 times a year. So there are always something surprising to me.

When we arrived, my wife told me what we needed to buy, and we began walking through different aisles after I put my son in the shopping cart.

Before we headed to the cashier, my wife mentioned that she’d like to buy some foods and donate them to the food bank set in the supermarket.  We both appreciate the idea of making it easier for shoppers to donate foods while doing grocery shopping. 

We bought some cookies and instant noodles, because these foods can be preserved longer.

Being able to share some resources with people in need is a privilege, and we hope our son will grow into a generous and compassionate person.

週日早上，我和家人去超市買菜。 我個人不經常去超市，一年大概五六次。 所以總有一些令我驚訝的事物。

當我們到達時，我的妻子告訴我我們需要買什麼，在我把兒子放進購物車後，我們開始走進不同的走道。

在我們去收銀台之前，我太太提到她想買一些食物捐贈給設置在超市裡的食物銀行。 我們都很讚賞讓購物者在購買日用品時，更方便捐贈食物的概念。

我們買了一些餅乾和泡麵，因為這些食物可以保存更長時間。

 能夠與有需要的人分享資源，是一種榮幸，我們希望我們的兒子能成長為一個慷慨和富有同情心的人。
